BBC is producing a TV movie based on Rockstar Games and Grand Theft Auto. New reports say that Daniel Radcliffe is in negotiations to star as Rockstar co-founder and president Sam Houser.

Interestingly, GTA hater and serial pest Jack Thompson is in the script, suggesting the film will focus on the media outrage that followed GTA 3's release.

The report also says that the movie will, at least in part, focus on the controversy between Rockstar Games and the anti-video game lawyer Jack Thompson, who often cited the Grand Theft Auto games as one of the worst examples of violent video games' negative impact on society.

Jack’s role hasn’t been cast yet, but director Owen Harris will direct the film. The film is the initiative of BBC, “inspire a new generation with digital technology”.
