We were all surprised when we heard that Daily Show was going to have a new host. We got over it and tried to accept the freshly introduced to divertissement – at this scale – fellow. Not easy, though, considering some of Trevor Noah’s tweets. The host has often been writing offensive ideas on women, victims of the Ebola virus and Jews, served as jokes.

Needless to say, the reaction didn’t wait and hundreds of annoyed fans of entertainment spoke their mind on different social media platforms. By Tuesday, Noah was one of the most trending topics on Twitter, his jokes being characterized as offensive and tasteless. Roseanne Barr, a lover of the media, tweeted late Monday "U should cease sexist &anti Semitic `humor' about Jewish women & Israel,''.

The 31-year-old South African who has over 2 million Twitter followers seems to face a much difficult process of blending in than we were expecting. Noah is now struggling to convince the world that he had no intention of being disrespectful and, more important, that he has changed since then, as the tweets are dating between 2009 and 2014. One of the most discussed tweets is "Oh yeah the weekend. People are gonna get drunk & think that I'm sexy!'' He attributes the joke to "fat chicks everywhere.'', posted in 2014.
